Early Days
I was born and raised in Harrow, where my Father, a Bank Manager, had several restaurant proprietors as customers.
It was the heyday of the steak house; Dad would often take us out to the 'Leif Robinson'.
My sister and I had 18th birthday celebrations at Le Caprice in Watford, owned by one of Dad's restaurateurs.
But I never dreamed that I would become one.
Not quite Saint Tropez, but ...
Whilst I cannot lay claim to a globe-trotting career like Giacomo, I have worked in a variety of businesses.
In particular, I enjoyed and learned a lot at the old Wembley Stadium and Arena; I was one of the team
organising everything from International Football matches to Rock Concerts and Holiday on Ice.
I've also worked for the Marketing Director of a large Computer company, and the Payroll department of Loreal Cosmetics.
Dorset Days
I moved to Dorset several years ago, where Giacomo and I met and married.
Since moving here I have worked in the hospitality industry, at several prestigious hotels in Bournemouth and Poole,
gaining a valuable understanding of the industry, and appreciating the importance of meeting customer needs and expectations.
La Lupa 2009
Taking over La Lupa with Giacomo is a new challenge.
My skills compliment his extensive knowledge and experience as a restaurateur.
With me looking after the dining room, and supporting behind the scenes, and Giacomo concentrating on the kitchen,
together we will continue to develop and update your dining experience at La Lupa, whilst retaining the essential friendly, traditional, family atmosphere.
I look forward to welcoming you to La Lupa.
